Herbie Wiles Insurance Recognized As Best Practices Agency

Herbie Wiles Insurance retains its Best Practices status, once again becoming a part of an elite group of independent insurance agencies around the United States. This status comes by participating in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) “Best Practices” Study Group.

More than 1,500 were nominated, but only 262 independent agencies throughout the United States qualified for the honor. To be chosen, the agency had to be among the 35-45 top-performing agencies in one of six categories. Herbie Wiles Insurance was nominated based on outstanding customer retention, growth, stability and financial management.

“I’m very proud of our staff who were instrumental in retaining this recognition,” says Doug Wiles, Herbie Wiles president. “It demonstrates our commitment to continue providing the finest, most efficient service to our clients by using practices and procedures that are among the best in the insurance industry.”

The Best Practices Study was initiated by IIABA in 1993 as the foundation for efforts to improve agency performance. The annual study of leading independent insurance agencies, which is conducted for IIABA by Reagan Consulting of Atlanta, Ga., documents the business practices of these “best” agencies and urges others to adopt similar practices.

Herbie Wiles Insurance was founded in 1961 and offers a wide range of insurance products including life, health, family, car, property and business. The agency serves more than 8,000 families and businesses in Northeast Florida. Herbie Wiles is an example of leadership and compassion within the greater St. Augustine community.
