A native of Killingworth, CT, Dawn joined the Herbie Wiles team in 2005. She has been working in the insurance industry since 1999 when she started with the insurance division of the Rockefeller Family companies working directly with the Rockefeller family on their Personal Lines accounts.
She graduated Cum Laude from John Jay College in New York City and a few years later attended the College of Insurance (division of the City University of New York) to obtain her insurance license. In 2011, she was awarded the Florida Outstanding Customer Service Representative award by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. In 2012, she earned the designation of Associate in Insurance Account Management and in 2014 completed the Leadership St Johns program for the St Johns County Chamber of Commerce.
Dawn has a 10-year old daughter that makes up her world. Weekend trips and one large annual vacation are always in the planning stages. Together, they are active in Girl Scouts and in their church. In her spare time, Dawn enjoys riding her bicycle, gardening, camping and recently (thanks to her daughter) participating in 5K events.
Her favorite aspect of her job is her co-workers who make her job "worth coming to every day". She also enjoys her position within the agency and feels it utilizes her strengths and makes her feel confident in my role here. She wishes more people understood that insurance is not boring! Every day, agents encounter new situations and new people, are asked questions that have never been heard of before, therefore, learning new things, and work on different accounts with different needs.
