Sometimes we find our employees have talents we never imagined. Take Julie Arena for instance. Julie has worked in our Personal Lines Department for the past eight years, sometimes even pinch hitting as our receptionist, so many of you have probably talked to her at one time or another. If so, then her sparkling personality and sense of humor will have certainly left an impression.
We recently learned that Julie continues her work outside of our office as a volunteer for the Learn to Read program and she was recently recognized for her work with a particular 73 year old student. Julie meets with this student every week and has found working with her to be a very rewarding experience. Her student's goal is to stand up in church and read a bible passage to the congregation and with Julie’s help, this goal will be realized very soon.
Julie has been a positive influence on many of us at Herbie Wiles and we are extremely proud to learn that she has touched people outside of our office in such a personal way. Congratulations Julie and thank you so much for everything you do for our customers and the people of St. Johns County.
